Islamic Affairs Ministry Delivers Sixth Batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift of Holy Quran Copies to Egypt

Cairo, On behalf of Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for Islamic Affairs Sheikh Awad bin Sabti Al-Enezi delivered, at the headquarters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Cairo today, the sixth batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of 100,000 copies of the Holy Quran with various sizes and interpretations to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, and representatives of Al-Azhar, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments, and Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta.

Ambassador Nugali said that the gift is a reflection of the historical relations and continuous cooperation between the two countries, and the joint cooperation, consultation, and coordination, between the sides through cooperation between the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Al-Azhar, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments, and Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta.
