Jood Eskan Charitable Campaign Ends, Achieving its Target of SR1.5 Billion, Benefiting More than 26,000 Individuals

Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, who is also Chairman of the Council of Trustees of the National Developmental Housing Institution, announced today the closure of Jood Eskan Charity subscription with its target of more than SR1.5 billion being fully realized.

The donation campaign was inaugurated by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince on the first day of Ramadan with a generous donation of SR150 million and was then followed by a flow of donations by other donors until it reached its full target which was announced today.

The campaign has seen the contribution of a number of leading partners, including the General Endowment Authority, Al-Rajhi Bank, stc Group, MBC, Al-Arabia News Channel, the National Group for Housing, Ajlan and Brothers, Sumou RealEstate , Khuzam Real Estate, and Al Arabia Outdoor Advertising, an advertising partner.

As many as 5250 families including 26,250 individuals throughout the country have secured ready homes, an unprecedented result in terms of charity fundraising recognized by Guinness world records.
