Justice Minister Highlights Judicial Advancements in Meeting with Court Heads

Riyadh: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani met yesterday in Riyadh with the heads of the Courts of Appeal to discuss recent developments in the judiciary.



According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Samaani expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for its substantial support, which has facilitated advancements in procedural, substantive, and legislative areas, notably the recent approval of implementing regulations for the Personal Status Law.



He also emphasized that the continuous backing from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, “is a cornerstone of judicial development, inspiring all stakeholders within the justice sector.”



The minister underscored the role of court heads in ensuring the correct application of regulatory rules and emphasized the need for collaboration between the technical office in courts and the Case Preparation Center to enhance the quality of judicial rulings.



Al-Samaani also called for ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of rulings issued by the Courts of Appeal, stressing the importance of thorough factual and legal reasoning in appellate rulings.
