Lisbon: The Interreligious Dialogue Center "KAICIID" organized its first regional forum for Arab ambassadors accredited to the Portuguese Republic at its headquarters in Lisbon. The event, titled "Transformative Dialogue Approaches for Peace and Social Cohesion," marked a significant step in promoting dialogue among international stakeholders.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum was part of the UN International Year of Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace. It underscored the increasing necessity for dialogue in tackling the world's intricate and interconnected challenges. The gathering provided a platform to review KAICIID's pivotal programs in the Arab region.

Among the key announcements was a new initiative, "Dialogue within Muslim Communities," which is set to launch this year. This initiative aims to foster social cohesion, shared citizenship, and trust within diverse Muslim communities, reflecting KAICIID's ongoing commitment to peacebuilding efforts.

The forum also facilitated an exchange of views among ambassadors and diplomatic representatives. This interaction highlighted a collective spirit of solidarity and a shared commitment to working towards a future rooted in peace and mutual understanding.
