Al khobar: Under the patronage of Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, King Faisal University (KFU), represented by its College of Computer Science and Information Technology, in cooperation with Central Michigan University, will organize the IEEE 5th International Conference on Computing and Machine Intelligence (ICMI 2026) this Wednesday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, more than 441 researchers from over 34 countries will participate, presenting around 400 peer-reviewed papers on the latest trends in computing and machine intelligence. The conference serves as an international scientific platform bringing together expertise in computing and AI to develop innovative solutions for future needs.
The conference includes scientific sessions and specialized workshops on key topics, including data, cybersecurity, and sustainability, alongside a university hackathon competition with more than 35 student teams from local and international universities. The conference is organized in conjunction with the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026, reflecting the university's role in supporting innovation and digital transformation.
