Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, Alexey Danilov, announced that the leak of American intelligence information will not affect Kiev’s military strategy.
Danilov said: “The number of people who know our plans on our territory is very limited. I do not think that the source” CNN “has anything to do with this.”
He pointed out that some of the information that was published is not confidential at all and “can be found in open sources.”
The White House Strategic Communications Coordinator, John Kirby, confirmed that the leak of confidential Pentagon documents will not affect Kiev’s support plans, and that Washington will continue to support it as long as the need exists.
The War Zone reported that Russian intelligence could get a lot of information about the state of Kiev forces and the intentions of the Ukrainian General Staff from the latest leak from the Pentagon.
Last Saturday, the US Department of Justice announced the opening of an investigation into a possible leak and publication of confidential Pentagon documents related to Ukraine’s military assistance, Russia’s military operation, and other issues.
