Kabul: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) carried out the Saudi Noor Voluntary Project to Combat Blindness in the Kabul Province, in Afghanistan, from October 27 to November 1, in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation. Throughout the duration of the project, the KSrelief volunteer medical team examined 4,160 cases and successfully performed 442 specialized surgeries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the humanitarian and relief projects that the Kingdom implements through KSrelief to support the medical sector. The project aims to assist people suffering from eye diseases in different countries, demonstrating Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing essential medical aid and services to those in need.
