Nouakchott: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its voluntary medical project for cardiac surgery and catheterization in Nouakchott, Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The initiative, which ran from September 18 to 25, involved a team of 18 volunteers from various medical specialties.
According to Saudi Press Agency, KSrelief's dedicated medical team performed a total of 28 open-heart surgeries and 95 cardiac catheterization procedures. Additionally, the team completed three transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) procedures during the project.
This initiative is part of KSrelief's ongoing effort to provide voluntary medical assistance across multiple specialties, focusing on delivering vital support to those in need.
