KSrelief Concludes Cardiac Surgery Campaign in Indonesia

Makassar: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded a voluntary medical project for cardiac surgery and catheterization in Makassar, Indonesia, which ran from August 26 to September 4, 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project involved a team of 32 medical volunteers from various specialties who performed a total of 18 pediatric heart surgeries, 17 adult heart surgeries, and 81 adult interventional cardiac catheterizations. The team also completed two TAVI heart surgeries, which stands for transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

This initiative is part of the Kingdom's broader humanitarian efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to support the medical sector and provide aid to patients with heart disease worldwide.
