The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched on Wednesday the Food Basket Distribution Project in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for 2023. The Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania, Mohammed Ayed Al-Balawi, and several government officials in Mauritania attended the inauguration.

The project aims to distribute 2,686 food baskets weighing 134 tons and 300 kilograms, which include basic foodstuffs, benefiting 16,116 people in Nouakchott.

This comes within the relief and humanitarian efforts undertaken through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to provide food security in many friendly countries worldwide.
