KSrelief Supervisor General Highlights Saudi Arabia’s Global Humanitarian Role at University of Sousse

Sousse: Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah emphasized Saudi Arabia's prominent global role in humanitarian aid, highlighting the Kingdom's transformation into a leading example of hope for the international community. He underscored KSrelief's global outreach in serving the needy and alleviating suffering, pointing to the success of its medical and health initiatives, support for healthcare facilities, and worldwide volunteer medical programs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a lecture at the University of Sousse, Tunisia, Dr. Al Rabeeah noted KSrelief's transparent and impartial operations, delivering over $7.8 billion across 3,393 projects in 106 countries, with Yemen receiving the largest share at 61.98%, amounting to over $4.5 billion. The lecture mentioned key projects like "Masam," which has cleared over 488,000 mines in Yemen, along with prosthetic limb centers serving over 115,000, the reintegration of children associated with armed forces, and other crucial platforms like Saudi Aid, refugee aid, Saudi external volunteering, and Sahem donations.

Moreover, Dr. Al Rabeeah noted KSrelief's significant global volunteer work, with numerous programs providing vital assistance in specialties such as cochlear implants, cardiac surgery, and blindness prevention.

During the event, a documentary highlighted the remarkable Saudi conjoined twins separation program, which has studied 149 cases from 27 countries and completed 62 surgeries.
