Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Cabinet decided to join the Global Water Organization as a founding member.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the decision, taken during a Cabinet session today, was made in response to the desire of Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah regarding the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to establish a global water organization headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The organization aims to serve as an international platform to promote cooperation in water resource management and achieve sustainable development.
The Kuwaiti Cabinet welcomed the initiative and approved joining the Global Water Organization as a founding member.
