Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad announced today, Saturday, that 1,640 martyrs have been recorded, including 104 children and 194 women, and 8,408 wounded, since the beginning of the confrontations between the Zionist entity and Hezbollah about a year ago.
Abiad explained, in a press conference in the capital Beirut, that the ministry has recorded 11 martyrs and 108 wounded since yesterday, Friday.
He added that from October 8 to September 15, 610 martyrs have fallen, including 38 women and 17 children, in addition to 2,056 wounded.
He pointed out that from September 16 (two days before the wireless communications devices were bombed across Lebanon) until the 27th of the same month, 1,030 martyrs have fallen, including 156 women and 87 children, and 6,352 wounded.
The minister revealed that the total number since the events began last October has reached 1,640 martyrs, including 104 children and 194 women, and 8,408 wounded. Al-Abyad indicated that there are still martyrs under the rubble, missing per
