Beirut, Aug. Lebanon recorded 1,149 new cases of coronavirus and five deaths, bringing the number of infections to 593,929 in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon announced that the total number of recovery cases rose to 547,283, while the number of deaths jumped to 8,019.
