Mauritania today strongly condemned the ongoing Houthi terrorist attacks against innocent civilians and economic facilities in the Kingdom.

The Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that these attacks on Jeddah, near the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah, represent a dangerous terrorist act and a provocation to the feelings of 1.5 billion Muslims around the world, reiterating its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and its support for its legitimate right to protect its territory and to ensure the stability of the region and the global energy supplies.
