Jeddah: The National Waste Management Center “Mawan” concluded the workshop titled “Sustainable Waste Management” in Makkah as part of the center’s preparations for the Hajj season 1445 AH.

The seven-day workshop discussed several topics, including introducing the types of waste and how to manage it, the importance of enhancing the ability to adopt behaviors that contribute to reducing pollution and preserving the environment, raising environmental awareness, and encouraging sound and effective practices among pilgrims and the relevant authorities.
