Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce led the Bahraini delegation participating in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministers of Commerce and British Minister of State for Trade meeting, held in Oman.

The meeting was attended by Nigel Huddleston, UK Minister of State for International Trade, and Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC.

The minister underlined the strong cooperation between the GCC and the UK which contributed to supporting the efforts of business integration and enhancing the council’s economic status.

He praised the strong commercial ties between the GCC and the UK and the progress it continues to witness.

The meeting discussed topics of common interest and ways to further expand investments between the GCC and the UK.
