RIYADH: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met with Republic of Estonia Minister of Economy and Industry Erkki Keldo to explore avenues for expanding their strategic partnership focused on digital innovation, the empowerment of emerging technology firms, and fostering digital entrepreneurship.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the Biban24 forum in Riyadh, an event organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) under the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities.” The discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation in modern technologies and exchanging expertise in attracting technical investments, along with facilitating venture capital funding for emerging technology companies.
The dialogue between the officials also focused on the development of digital talent, a critical factor in the growth of the digital economy, and achieving sustainable development goals for both nations. The collaboration seeks to
address various challenges and opportunities in the tech sector, providing a platform for innovative solutions to flourish.
