Riyadh, Apr. 13, 2022, SPA — Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal Al-Ibrahim, has paid an official visit to the Republic of Portugal, during which he met with the Portuguese Minister of Economy and the Seas Antonio Costa Silva and several senior government officials, it was reported here today.

During the meeting with Antonio Costa Silva, issues of common interest were discussed and economic relations between the two countries reviewed.

The Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning also met with State Secretary of Energy Joao Gualamba.

During the meeting, they reviewed opportunities for joint cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Ibrahim also met with President of Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP) Luis Castro Henrique and the Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) Zacarias da Costa.

During the meeting, the importance of relations based on common interests between the two sides was emphasized.
