The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member and Climate Affairs Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, paid a visit to the Republic of Uruguay where he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, Francisco Bustillo Bonasso, in Montevideo.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the friendly relations and bilateral cooperation between their countries and discussed various ways to enhance and develop joint work in all fields.
Al-Jubeir expressed gratitude to the Uruguayan government for their support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host Expo 2030.
The Director General of the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Affairs Envoy, Ambassador Khalid bin Musaed Al-Anqari, and the Saudi Acting Chargé d'Affaires to the Republic of Uruguay, Hossam Al-Saqabi, also attended the meeting.
