Presidency of Religious Affairs of Two Holy Mosques Announces Success of Ramadan Plan

Makkah, The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the plan’s success for Ramadan 1445 AH.

The plan aimed to create a humble devotional atmosphere for worshipers and pilgrims, enrich the experience of the millions of visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and strengthen the Presidency’s complementary roles in harmony with all government agencies and success partners.

During a meeting with several senior staff of the Presidency, the President of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, declared that the plan of the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Ramadan season 1445 AH was very successful.

He added that this was the first Ramadan season after introducing the Presidency of Religious Affairs, thanks to the Saudi leadership’s great support and care.

Dr. Al-Sudais said that efforts were combined to create an integrated religious service system that considered international standards. These efforts co
ntributed to continuing the Kingdom’s series of successes in conveying its moderate message to the world, devoting the values of tolerance and moderation, and highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom’s government in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.

He stated that the Religious Presidency has successfully strengthened the status of the Two Holy Mosques, making them an outlet for correcting the image of Islam, clarifying its authenticity and tolerance, and moderating its approach.

He added that all religious services, activating promotional paths, investing in technology and digitization, modern media, and smart applications were per governance and measuring the impact and visitor satisfaction. The Religious Presidency is now preparing a study to maximize the success and transform the challenges into positive opportunities whose benefits will be reaped by the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques.

Dr. Al-Sudais prayed to Allah to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince
with the best reward for the attention and diligence they devote to the Two Holy Mosques and their religious affairs to facilitate ritual performance.
