Makkah– The Social and Voluntary Services Agency, represented by the General Department of Social Services, at the General Presidency for the affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, distributed 4,000 umbrellas to pilgrims and workers operating in the Grand Mosque.

This comes within the “Social” initiative themed “The Two Holy Mosques Umbrella”, one of the General Presidency’s campaign programs launched to serve the pilgrims, which aims to introduce several initiatives and programs to provide the best services for the pilgrims.

The initiative also aims to protect from the heat of the sun the pilgrims while performing their rituals, as well as the employees of the General Presidency, security and health staff and volunteers inside the Grand Mosque and its courtyards.
