President of International Court of Arbitration: Saudi Arabia among Top Economic Influential Countries in World

Makkah– Chairman of the Saudi Arabia International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s representative to ICC Saif bin Abdullah Al-Turki and President of the International Court of Arbitration (ICA) Claudia Salomon have discussed top international issues and the role of ICA in addressing them, in addition to reviewing the best practices and expertise in international arbitration, best ways to adjudicate disputes, and raising awareness on skills and expertise necessary to enhance conflict avoidance.

Al-Turki, during his meeting with Salomon, noted that an agreement was reached to host training events and programs of international arbitration by the court to develop the quality of arbitration and efficiency of arbitrators, in addition to raising awareness on the most important international policies, laws and practices concerned with international arbitration inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and exchanging expertise and benefits in specializations and interests of mutual interests for the two sides.

For her part, Salomon stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is among the top economic influential countries in the world, voicing aspiration for fruitful cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and calling on all to benefit from the services of the court in arbitration that is known for quality, long experiences and arbitrated standards, procedures and policies.
