The Board of Directors of the International Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) convened today for its fourth meeting of the 40th session in Budapest. The meeting included the participation of President of the Saudi General Court of Audit, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors, and IIA Board member Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Angari, along with other board members. The board reviewed the key activities of the year and discussed various agenda items, resulting in several recommendations and decisions. The meeting also highlighted the "From Riyadh to the World" initiative, introduced by the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors at the 10th Internal Audit Conference in Riyadh. The initiative, which launched its first round on September 24 in Beijing, aims to foster international cooperation and the exchange of expertise in internal auditing, building on the successes Saudi Arabia has achieved in this field.
