The Red Sea Souk, which will be held alongside the upcoming Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah’s historic Al-Balad district in December, continues to accept submissions for its Project Market and Film Screenings. This initiative aims to support cinematic works in the post-production stage, with the deadline set for August 29th.
This year’s Red Sea Souk Project Market aims to showcase up to 24 projects in development or production, along with a selection of up to 10 films in the post-production stage. These films are from directors and filmmakers from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia. Selected films will be able to compete for cash prizes provided by the Red Sea Fund.
Additionally, all projects chosen for the Red Sea Souk will be eligible for further cash awards sponsored by the Souk’s partners and supporters. A jury will judge the projects for these additional awards.
