Jeddah– The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued today a number of royal orders.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said in a royal order that after reviewing what was presented to us by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, we ordered the following:
First: Establishing a commission for the development of Taif.
Second: The Commission shall have a Board of Directors whose chairman and members are appointed by order of the Prime Minister.
Third: The Experts Committee in the Council of Ministers – in coordination with the relevant authorities it deems appropriate – and within a period not exceeding three months from the date of this order, shall prepare the necessary organizational arrangements, including determining the supervisory scope of the competence of that body, and completes the necessary procedures for that.
Fourth: Our order shall be notified to the competent authorities for approval and implementation.
