Rural Experience Redefines Agricultural Tourism in Al-Jouf

Al-jouf: The agricultural areas of Al-Jouf serve as a popular summer evening destination, coinciding with the end-of-year school break. In Sakaka, evening temperatures average around 27°C, offering an ideal setting for memorable family outings.

According to Saudi Press Agency, amid the farms west of Sakaka, the experience of citizen Yousef Al-Haizan stands out. He transformed his farm into a summer family resort, offering visitors a unique blend of leisure, hospitality, and agricultural heritage.

Al-Haizan, inspired by his passion for agriculture and love for his land, developed the farm to blend modern amenities with local identity. It now features open-air seating shaded by trees and dedicated areas for youth activities, including horseback riding and motorbiking.

This initiative is part of a broader community-driven effort to promote the use of agricultural land for developing rural tourism in Al-Jouf. It paves the way for innovative experiences that engage local residents in shaping the region's development.

Spanning over 70,000 square meters, the farm includes various zones designed to enrich the visitor experience. These include an equestrian area offering horseback riding and lessons for all ages, traditional seating areas serving Saudi coffee and dates, and rural-style settings reflecting Al-Jouf's heritage. The site also features a Bedouin-style tent and additional amenities to meet visitors' needs.

Throughout July, Al-Jouf enjoys mild evening weather, making it an ideal time for outings in its agricultural areas, resorts, and parks-popular destinations for local residents.
