Hong Kong: The Air Connectivity Program actively participated in the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Asia held in Hong Kong, marking its involvement in one of the premier gatherings for aviation leaders from across the globe. During the event, the program highlighted its strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Saudi Arabia’s global air connectivity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Air Connectivity Program Executive Director Majid Khan engaged in a dialogue session titled ‘Global Aviation Trends: Impact on Asia Future’. In this session, Khan underscored the opportunities and services that Saudi Arabia’s tourism and aviation sectors offer for international market entry. He emphasized the program’s response to the growing demand for air travel to Saudi Arabia by focusing on developing routes that connect to the Kingdom’s 29 airports and establishing new direct air routes. These efforts are in line with the strategic goal of attracting 150 million tourists by 2030.

m aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector by enhancing its global air connectivity. It plays a pivotal role in both the National Tourism Strategy and the National Aviation Strategy. The program is dedicated to developing current and potential air routes that link Saudi Arabia with new destinations around the world, thereby broadening the Kingdom’s reach and accessibility.
Furthermore, the Air Connectivity Program fosters collaboration and builds partnerships between key public and private sector stakeholders. This initiative reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global destination for tourism-focused air connectivity, ensuring that the Kingdom remains at the forefront of international travel and tourism development.
