Istanbul – The local newspaper, “Khabar Turk”, revealed the intention of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to buy attack drones from Turkey.

The newspaper stated in its Friday edition that Saudi Arabia will receive the Turkish drones in batches soon, while no deadline for delivery has been set.

The newspaper pointed out that Saudi Arabia aims behind the deal to use advanced Turkish defense technologies to confront the Houthi group in Yemen.

The newspaper explained that Saudi Arabia is now interfering to speed up the normalization of relations between Cairo and Ankara, in order to bring closer views towards restoring relations between them.
