Riyadh: The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property today marked World Intellectual Property Day, observed annually on April 26. This year's theme, launched by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), is "IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP."
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority emphasized the crucial role of intellectual property in supporting the music sector, enabling creators to protect and monetize their work within a legal framework that safeguards their moral and financial rights. It highlighted that copyright protection in music strengthens creative industries and fosters the creative economy, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals.
