Kuwait City: The Saudi National Products Expo (SNP Expo) concluded its second edition on Saturday night in Kuwait. More than 60 Saudi companies from the industrial, technological, food, health, and commercial sectors participated in the event, marking a significant achievement for Saudi industries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this edition surpassed its predecessor, achieving over 20 bilateral agreements and deals valued at more than SAR300 million. The expo featured a series of events and productive economic activities, including specialized sessions and workshops for industry and trade officials and global experts. These discussions explored the future of Saudi industries and exports, sustainable solutions, leveraging government initiatives and programs, and fostering integration with government entities to achieve optimal cooperation between the public and private sectors, enhancing economic partnerships.
SNP Expo CEO Hend Aloni, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, emphasized that Kuwait is a promising market and a strategic partner for the Kingdom in the region. She noted that Kuwait’s selection as host for the second edition was because of its strategic geographic location, close ties with Saudi Arabia, and keen interest in developing Gulf industrial and commercial cooperation. Furthermore, its proximity to Gulf and international markets provides an ideal platform for promoting Saudi products and industries.
Aloni also highlighted the expo’s significance for startups and small businesses, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their offerings to a large audience of investors and consumers.
