Saudi-Omani Parliamentary Friendship Committee in Shura Council Meets its Omani Counterpart

Muscat– The Saudi-Omani Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council held a meeting here today with its counterpart in the Shura Council of Oman, on the sidelines of the sixteenth regular meeting of the heads of the Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The meeting was attended by Shura Council member Dr. Hassan Al-Masloum, member of the Saudi-Omani Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council, Shura Council member Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nahhas, and Shura Council member Dr. Tariq Al-Shamari, with the participation of the Saudi Ambassador to Oman Abdullah Al-Enezi.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Omani-Saudi Friendship Committee in the Omani Shura Council; Ahmed Al-Sharqi, Mohammed Al-Madhani and Hammoud Al-Yahyai.
During the meeting, they discussed the implications of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Oman’s 2040 Vision, which aim to develop education and health services, develop the industrial and tourism sectors and diversify sources of income, stressing the keenness of the two leaderships through the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council to achieve the vision in the two countries.
