Riyadh– Saudi newspapers highlighted today a number of issues at the local and international arenas.
AlRiyadh newspaper said in its editorial entitled “Development does not stop” that the royal orders issued approving the establishment of two development commissions for the governorates of Al-Ahsa and Taif based on what was submitted by HRH Crown Prince come within the framework of the comprehensive sustainable development included in the goals of the blessed Vision 2030, which adopted development in all its forms as a sustainable approach for all regions of the Kingdom that has gone beyond planning to implementation on the ground for all regions of our country to enjoy the sustainable development.
The paper indicated that the royal orders issued yesterday to establish two commissions for the development of Al-Ahsa and Taif also come within the framework of developing all regions of the Kingdom, and each of the two governorates possesses components, opportunities and capabilities.
The paper concluded that our leadership has set the development of man and place as the main goal, and it is an equation that is not easy to achieve through a sustainable project that does not stop at any end.
Albilad newspaper said in its editorial entitled ”Comprehensive Development” that the Kingdom’s leadership has harnessed all its capabilities to develop all cities, especially the tourist ones, to keep pace with the vision 2030 concerned with tourism aspects, noting that the two cities have great tourist potentials that deserve to be developed to contribute to the Saudi renaissance.
The paper concluded that the establishment of city development commissions reflects the leadership’s interest in upgrading the level of services provided to citizens and residents, as development commissions work in line with the ancient history of cities, especially that Taif and Al-Ahsa are prepared to attract investments and employ their potentials to serve the economy and tourism.
