Saudi Quality of Life Program Chief Emphasizes Human-Centric Approach at WUF12.

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Quality of Life Program Chief Executive Khalid Albaker stated that the program prioritizes human well-being in all its initiatives to fulfill the Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives. He said that the program aims to enhance the urban landscape, improve the quality of services in cities, and promote innovation and the use of modern technologies in related projects.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albaker’s remarks were made during the interactive session titled “Humans First in the Digital Age,” organized by the United Nations today as part of the 12th edition of the World Urban Forum (WUF12), with the participation of experts from around the world.

Albaker highlighted the program’s efforts to enhance the quality of life in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the utilization of digital transformation to meet the aspirations and needs of the population. He said that the program focuses on six key sectors: urban design, culture and heritage, sports, tourism, recreation, and security, all aimed at improvi
ng the daily lives of residents and providing a life experience that aligns with their aspirations.

He noted that digital transformation has become a key element in improving the quality of life, as it provides data-driven tools to support sustainable urban planning. Such technologies enable decision-making that responds to individual needs and contributes to building smart and sustainable cities.
