Bishkek: The Saudi Universities Alumni Forum in Russia and Central Asia concluded its academic sessions on Wednesday, after hosting more than 170 academics, researchers, and Islamic preachers who are graduates of Saudi universities from these regions. The event was organized by the Islamic University of Madinah, Taibah University, and the University of Jeddah, and took place in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek.
According to Saudi Press Agency, forum participants expressed their appreciation for the extensive support provided by the Saudi government towards knowledge and scholars, as well as its care for the Muslim community worldwide, particularly focusing on Saudi university graduates. The attendees praised the Kingdom’s commitment to offering platforms that facilitate communication among graduates and encourage them to pursue their academic and professional goals.
The participants highlighted Saudi Arabia’s devotion to spreading the true essence of Islam, defending it, and clarifying its balanced and moderate
nature. They applauded the Kingdom’s efforts in urging its citizens and students to embrace and teach these values, promoting them actively. Additionally, they stressed the importance of reinforcing Islamic identity while adhering to constructive dialogue between different cultures.
There was a strong emphasis on utilizing intercultural communication to benefit Islam and Muslims by spreading accurate knowledge. Participants also advocated for the importance of the Arabic language as a tool for communication and the propagation of sound Islamic concepts.
