Riyadh: CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham Al-Jadhey, received Syrian Minister of Health Dr. Musaab Al-Ali and his accompanying delegation at the authority's headquarters today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on collaboration to enhance technical and scientific capacities, including forming strategic partnerships with Syria. These partnerships aim to develop regulatory legislation for medical devices and supplies, organize specialized training programs and workshops, and exchange expertise and information on regulatory systems and standards for food and drugs.
This cooperation is part of the SFDA's efforts to strengthen partnerships with relevant authorities across Arab countries. It aims to contribute to the development of regulatory systems, enhance human resource efficiency, and support safety frameworks to better protect consumers in the food and drug sectors.
