‘Study in Saudi Arabia’: Platform to Facilitate Procedures for Accepting Non-Saudi Students to Study in Saudi Universities

The “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform is one of the initiatives that reflects Saudi Arabia’s interest in education and its dissemination, providing educational opportunities for learners, and attracting non-Saudi international students from different countries to study in Saudi universities in various disciplines.

The Director of the Educational Visa Program, who is also the supervisor of the “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Hessouni, said in his speech to the Saudi Press Agency during his participation in the work of the forum for non-Saudi graduates of higher education institutions in the Republic of Kenya, currently being held in Nairobi, that the Ministry of Education aims to promote awareness of the “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform, which is a unified national platform that provides services in ten international languages. The platform makes it easier for international students to submit their applications electronically to study in Saudi universities. It helps students to foll
ow up their application until obtaining the educational visa electronically by linking the procedures between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Al-Hessouni stated that the forum aims to provide care for non-Saudi students who graduated from Saudi universities, where more than 600 Kenyan students graduated. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia annually allocates approximately 190 seats for students from the Republic of Kenya to study in Saudi universities.
