A policeman was martyred in Tuz Khurmato district at the hands of an accused person.

A security source said that after an attempt by the police detachment in the district to arrest an accused person, shooting occurred between the two parties, and the policeman named Tariq Abdel Khaleq was injured after being shot by the accused.

The policeman was martyred before arriving at the hospital.
