The Military Intelligence arrested a person accused of kidnapping and raping children in Kirkuk.

A statement by the Intelligence Directorate stated: “The suspect was arrested in an elaborate ambush in the village of Al-Opeter, based on accurate intelligence information and complaints received from the people of Al-Multaqa district.”

The statement stated: “the accused was luring children, kidnapping and raping them in the Al-Multaqa district. He was handed over to the requesting party.”
