Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen, Al-Khidr Ahmed Marmash, prospects for cooperation and cultural and academic exchange between the two countries.

The Minister of Education confirmed, according to a statement by the Ministry, the readiness of Iraqi universities to receive international students within the “Study in Iraq” program, pointing out: Providing logistical requirements related to the university environment and enabling students to fulfill the scientific requirements for all available disciplines.

For his Part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen praised the initiative launched by the Minister to provide scholarships for international students and the response of Iraqi academic institutions to the paths of coordination and cooperation with countries in the region and the world.
