Baghdad, The National Accord Party, led by Iyad Allawi, condemned the positions of some countries that sided with the aggressor Zionist entity in its inhumane crimes against the Palestinian people, violating international laws and norms concerned with the protection of civilians.
The party stated in a statement: “Those countries suppressed peaceful demonstrations, such as France, and supported Israel militarily and medially, such as the United States and the United Kingdom,” noting: “This French position takes us back to the French colonial era of Algeria since the nineteenth century and the tripartite aggression against Egypt in 1956.” Because of these positions, we demand a boycott of them, the severing of diplomatic and economic relations with them, and the cancellation of all previous agreements.”
The National Accord Party expressed its astonishment at these bad positions from countries that have always claimed to support and commit to protecting human rights, but have remained silent in the face of the massacres and forced displacement in Gaza and the systematic oppression practiced by Israel against our Palestinian people.
He stressed the necessity of Arab unity in confronting the war of genocide against our Palestinian people and the urgent call for an Arab summit conference at the leadership level and the denunciation of imperialist arrogance.
