Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast moderate to heavy thundershowers, accompanied by strong winds and hail, in parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Additionally, fog may form in sections of these areas, as well as in the Eastern Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rain is anticipated in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Hail regions. This weather pattern is expected to extend to areas of Madinah, Qassim, Riyadh, and the northern parts of the Eastern Region. Dust-stirring winds are likely along the northern parts of the Red Sea coast.
Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northerly to northwesterly at speeds ranging from 15-48 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-45 km/h in the southern parts. Wave heights may vary from half a meter to more than two meters, with sea conditions ranging from relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will shift from northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 15-35 km/h, transitioning to southeasterly to easterly in the evening in the northern part. Wave heights are expected to be between half a meter and one and a half meters, with relatively calm sea conditions.
