The Basra Police arrested two persons accused of red-handed crime while they were trying to steal and break a car window.

The Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a statement: The Basra Police Department / Al-Balda Division, with a tight ambush, managed to arrest two persons accused of flagrante delicto while they were trying to steal and break the windows of a car in front of a bank in Basra Governorate.

It added, two pistols, a rubber applicator for breaking glass, and a substance (pepper) were seized to be used to distort one’s eyesight, along with a variety of clothes.

It indicated that the defendants confessed to carrying out 4 operations to break and steal car windows.
