London, The United Kingdom recorded 24,470 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 65 deaths, during the past 24 hours.
In a statement issued today, the UK Department of Health said that the total number of cases reached 5,880,667 and the death toll hit 129,719.
