Riyadh: Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain chaired yesterday the second meeting of the subcommittee on social development, health, and education on the Saudi side of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council. On the Turkish side, the meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of National Education Dr. Celile Erenkten. The meeting was held via videoconference, with several ministry officials and representatives of relevant government entities from both sides participating.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two sides reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields and discussed topics and issues of mutual interest in several areas, including social development, labor, health, education, Islamic affairs, Hajj, and Umrah.

They also explored ways to enhance cooperation and agreed to prepare a comprehensive action plan that includes several initiatives covering social development, labor, health, education, Islamic affairs, Hajj, and Umrah, while emphasizing the importance of following up on their implementation to ensure the achievement of the desired objectives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation between the relevant entities in both countries, in a manner that supports achieving the objectives of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council.
