Riyadh: The Managing Director and CEO of Invest India and President of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), Nivruti Rai, highlighted the significance of international collaboration for digital transformation and sustainable growth at the 28th World Investment Conference (WIC) in Riyadh. The event was held by Invest Saudi in partnership with WAIPA.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during her speech, Rai commended Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 as a blueprint for economic and social progress, emphasizing its focus on technology, education, and tourism development. She also praised the Kingdom’s dedication to innovating in the energy and water sectors, highlighting technology and infrastructure as pivotal factors for growth.
Rai pointed out the essential role of WAIPA’s 110 member states in tackling global challenges through the use of AI and data, noting that a global AI framework can improve health, energy efficiency, and overall quality of life.
She concluded by commending Saudi Arab
ia’s ambitious projects like NEOM as a successful blend of technology and sustainability, offering a high quality of life. She stressed that collaboration among WAIPA members is crucial for shared goals of sustainable growth and digital advancement, opening new opportunities for economic and social progress.
