ZATCA Holds Workshop for American Companies Residing in the Kingdom

Riyadh-- The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has hosted an awareness workshop for American companies residing in the Kingdom that are subject to the tax regulations in force, in the presence of competent employees from the US embassy in Riyadh.

The workshop, held at the Authority's headquarters, covered the role of the relationship manager in assisting taxpayers with their transactions as well as raising awareness of the procedures and initiatives provided by ZATCA.

The workshop also covered the transaction pricing system in the KSA and its mechanism, in addition, the examination, objections, settlement, collection, and ruling procedures, as well as the taxpayer rights.

Furthermore, the participants reviewed the ZATCA's initiatives to facilitate cross-border trade, which are based on ensuring the speed and flexibility of customs procedures related to import clearance and all related logistical services.

These workshops are part of ZATCA's efforts to raise awareness of tax regulations among taxpayers and to facilitate cross-border trade through initiatives presented at all customs ports. As a consequence, the Authority has held 250 workshops since the beginning of 2021, targeting all stakeholders from various sectors.
