Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri held a meeting this evening at the Center House with the ambassadors and representatives of the International Support Group for Lebanon, which includes China, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the European Union, the League of Arab States and representatives of a number of development funds and institutions operating in Lebanon.
The meeting was held in the framework of the permanent consultation with the countries of the ISG and the organizations that contributed to the CEDRE Conference.
Hariri briefed the attendees on the latest economic and political developments, especially the results of the recent visit of the French envoy Pierre Duquesne to Lebanon. They spoke about the steps taken since the CEDRE Conference, including the laws passed during the last legislative session and progress in this regard.
During the meeting, the representatives of participating countries and institutions stressed the importance of Lebanon's economic stability in the coming stage.
