Speaker hails royal keynote speech

Manama, Council of Representatives Speaker Fouzia bint Abdulla Zainal paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for conferred the Bahrain, Proficiency and National Action Orders during a ceremong held at Al-Sakhir Palace on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's national celebrations on 16 and 17 of December, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 47th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 19th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.

She extended deepest thanks to HM the King who referred in his keynote address to her election as Council of Representative Speaker, hailing the status of Bahraini women in the prosperous era of HM the King.

She described HM the King's address as a catalyst to pursue the march of national work, achieve royal aspirations towards serving the nation and citizens.

She hailed the keynote speech as a roadmap to fast-track the march of national action, boost dedicated work and motivate honest competition to the serve the Kingdom of Bahrain and its loyal people.

She extended congratulations to the recipients who were conferred the medals, describing the orders bestowed on them as a royal appreciation as well as a responsibility to continue dedicate efforts to serve the nation and its loyal people.

She underscored the significance of the honouring ceremony which concides with the Kingdom of Bahrain's national celebrations on 16 and 17 of December, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 47th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 19th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.

The reiterated the determination of the Council of Representatives to spare no effort to implement the the directives of HM the King and citizens' aspirations, continue the march of achievements for Bahrain and its people and attain further progress and prosperity for the coming generation.
