Bukhari distributes aid to Syrian refugees: Our message is to preserve Lebanon’s sovereignty, stability and prosperity

Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, visited this Friday Mufti of Mount Lebanon, Sheikh Mohammed Ali Jouzou, at his residence in the town of Jieh.

Discussions reportedly touched on an array of Lebanese affairs and the general situation, in addition to the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting took place in the presence of MPs Mohammed Hajjar and Bilal Abdullah, as well as the Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), Fahed Al Qannas, and several local dignitaries.

In his delivered word, Sheikh Al Jouzou hailed Ambassador Bukhair as one of the most dynamic ambassadors in Lebanon, hailing his open minded personality.

Al Jouzou also hailed the role of Saudi Arabia at the Arab and Islamix level.

Afterwards, Ambassador Bukhari accompanied by Al Jouzou, MP Al Hajjar and Al Qannas, visited the Barja Vocational School, where he distributed humanitarian aid to Syrian refugee families as part of the KSRelief's response humanitarian plan to the needs of refugees.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Bukhari said that the KSRelief's aid initiative included 20 thousand food packages, 22,000 blankets and 20,000 mattresses.

"This response underscores the role of Saudi Arabia in providing such a human model to all those in need in the world," Bukhari corroborated.

In reply to a question, Bukhari stressed that the Saudi Kingdom's longstanding message is the service of mankind wherever they exit.

Bukhari also underlined that KSA's message is to preserve Lebanon's security, sovereignty, stability and prosperity.
